RBS and Foot & Anstey triumph at BPAA Boules Competition

Scorching temperatures and blazing sunshine formed the backdrop to this year’s Bristol Property Agents Association (BPAA) Boules Competition in Clifton.

40 teams entered the annual event, sponsored by Beach Baker, to compete for the opportunity to win the coveted BPAA Boules Cup or Silver Plate.

The top team from each of the eight groups went into the Cup competition with the runner up qualifying for the plate competition.

In the cup competition, solid performances from AWW Architects, Jones Lang LaSalle , RBS & Integral culminated in a hard fought final between AWW and RBS. Despite AWW’s attempts add their name to the cup for a second time in the space of 3 years, RBS came through to scoop the title.
The final of the Plate competition was bitterly fought between Foot & Anstey and reigning plate holders BNP Paribas with both teams keen to take home the ‘tea tray’ (Silver Plate). Foot & Anstey grasped victory by 3 clear points and knocked the last agency firm out of the competition.

Andrew Main of Savills, the current president of the BPAA, comments, “Our annual Boules competition has really established itself in the Bristol property agents’ social calendar and it never fails to bring out a competitive streak in all of us.

“It is also a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for our chosen charities CLIC Sargent & Wherever the Need, as well as spend some quality time with colleagues and contacts in the industry.”
